Owen Lean

Owen Lean has been performing for pretty much his entire life and has been doing magic since the tender age of 18. Owen discovered magic completely by accident when he stumbled apon a trick deck lying around his parents house and investigating it, with a desire to learn its secret became quickly hooked on the incredibly things he found he was able to do. Seven years on, Owen is now one of the worlds leading and most respected Street Magicians, having performed over five continents and attracted praise from the media, his fellow magicians and performers, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of people who have experienced his show over the years.

Owen first started performing on the streets in the year 2002 whilst in Melbourne, Australia. As he walked down the street with a banknote levitating over his empty hand people stopped, stared and almost had traffic accidents. On his eventual arrival in Dublin later that year Owen began to research the history of street magic and began to support his university eduction by becoming a professional busker. It was in this way that Owen's RoadMage persona, became one of the most legendary characters on Dublin's Grafton street. RoadMage has since become infamous all over the world.

In 2006, Owen graduated from Trinity College Dublin, with a what has been heralded as the worlds first degree in Street Magic. To mark the occasion he performed a full street show in his accedmic cap and gown to mass media responce, including the front page of the Irish Times.

As well as a performer Owen is an aspiring writer, he wrote his first novel when he was 22 and with any luck it should be hitting the bookshop shelves in the near future.
